{Livin' on a Prayer}

On our way to Nashville for the BON JOVI concert!!

We first did some shopping at the Opry Mills Mall, then stopped off at Neely's BBQ for some very delicious food! I'm a huge Food Network Fan and they have a show called 'Down Home with the Neely's' hosted by Pat & Gina Neely. We thought it'd be fun to go somewhere "famous" and it did not disappoint. We even got to meet Pat Neely's brother, Tony Neely. He'd just come from Memphis where they'd been shooting another episode of Down Home with the Neely's. So that was kinda fun...getting to meet someone famous too!!

Then it was onto the concert!! Oh my....sooooooo excited!!

Enjoying the thrilling energy of just being in the same building as Jon Bon Jovi!! :-)

Once again...what a fabulous concert! Enjoyed again with fabulous company!

Alexa & Sydney

Once again, hanging out with friends! Alexa and Sydney are definitely two girly-girls! They love anything to do with princesses, makeup, jewelry...anything girly! I think Sydney is a makeup artist in the making!! We're sure going to miss Sydney and her mama!

Thunder Over Louisville

We finally did it...we went downtown to watch Thunder Over Louisville live last night! This is the 5th Thunder since we moved here AND our last, so we figured we better experience it at least once before we head back out west. And thanks to my fabulous friend, Waveney, we even got to enjoy it just the two of us...which was a huge blessing since we had to walk about 2 miles from where we parked and it was late so the girls would have been super tired, not to mention Alexa isn't a big fan of loud noises so we wouldn't have been able to enjoy it anyways.

And what a show!!! We LOVE fireworks and it did not disappoint!

Brielle & Alexa

We've really been trying to spend as much time with friends as possible since our days here in Kentucky are numbered. :-( Today we went to Cherokee Park...oh how we will miss Cherokee Park. The weather has been down right beautimus the last few days and so we've been outside as much as possible! I wish we would have gotten more pictures with Alexa's other little friends that were at the park too...but Kasen T., Zach R. and Jonny B. were also there.

Yep, that's right...we're dedicating a whole post to our little neighbor boy, Jonny! He turned THREE today and we just love this little guy. Alexa is sure going to miss her almost daily companion!

The day started off with Jonny coming over to play so his sweet mama could get some things done. Then we all headed to the park for his construction birthday party! It was such a beautiful day and so much fun to spend it with great friends in celebration of Jonny's big day!

Payton enjoyed being at the park too! Isn't she just about the sweetest thing ever??

Oh how we love this warmer weather! We took advantage of the beautiful day and headed outside after church today. Both Alexa and Payton were in heaven.

I thought I got some pictures of Kevin with the girls but apparently not...at least I got one of me, that usually never happens!!

And then I had to do a little photo shoot of my sweet Payton. My friend, Amanda, gave us this beautiful dress and I just had to get some pictures of Payton in it!

We also love the warmer weather so we can strip down to our skivvies!!!

Payton was seriously loving her newfound freedom from clothes! Haha...she's such a ham!

What a fun, beautiful, sun-shiny day!!

Easters 2010

Our Easter festivities started on Friday with an Easter Egg Hunt at Joe Creason Park. The kids had a blast! Alexa loved it last year but was REALLY into it this year!

And it was such a nice afternoon for me since I left Payton home napping with Kevin...what a difference only 1 child makes!! I sure love my girl! I love both of them but it's nice to have one-on-one time every now and then!

Then the Easter Bunny visited our house this morning (even though he almost forgot!!!). Here's Alexa checkin' out her loot. She absolutely loves her new slippers!

I'm ashamed to admit that the Easter Bunny wasn't very good to her this year!! I'm sure he'll redeem himself next year!! :-) She loved it anyways...so easy to please!

Hahaha...and I had to add this picture because it makes me laugh! This is what we get when we try to take a good picture of the girls on Easter Morning before breakfast!!

The rest of our Easter weekend was spent watching the General Broadcast for our Church. It was a fabulous weekend spending time with our little family, listening to our beloved Prophet and other leaders of our church, and focusing on the Resurrection of our Savior. I'm so grateful for Him and the sacrifice he made for all of us.

HAPPY EASTERS!!

What a difference...

...almost 2 years makes! Our little lady is really growing up! Yet, swinging is still one of her favorite things to do! We went to Alexa's friend Brielle's 4th birthday party today...I so cannot believe Brielle is FOUR. When her sweet family moved here 4 years ago, she was barely 3 months old and we all were JUST starting dental school (her daddy goes to school with Alexa's daddy) and now look where we are!
