Pretty Pigtails

Alexa's hair is getting pretty long now so I finally decided to try some pigtails. She's pretty darn cute if you ask me!!!

Happy Easter

Lexa looked adorable in her pretty purple Easter dress. She was quite excited about her bunny in her basket....although I think her mommy and daddy were most excited about the candy!! :-)

Sitting Up

Alexa can now sit up on her own for a short time. She loves this newfound independence - hence the seriously cheesy grin!!

Poor little Alexa came down with a viral induced respiratory infection last week and so we have to give her breathing treatments 3 times a day until the wheezing stops. As you can see, at first, she didn't really like it. She's getting used to it now though and has actually fallen asleep twice while we've been doing the treatment.

Alexa is such a joy to us. Her bright eyes and quick smiles really make every day with her so special.

Four Months Old

Alexa turned 4 months old on March 20th. She's getting so big. We love this picture of her crazy hair. It's getting pretty long. In fact, we had to cut off her mullet before we left to go to Arizona!

The Triple A's!!

Alexa was the third "A" Mortenson baby born in 2006. Her cousin in the red dress is Ainsley born in February last yaer and her cousin in the white top is Amelia born last June. They have now been dubbed the "Triple A's".

Kevin and I were able to go to Arizona this past week for spring break. We had a great time enjoying the heat and sunshine! And Alexa sure enjoyed meeting all her cousins, aunts and uncles on the Mortenson side.

Alexa LOVES her daddy. She saves the best giggles and smiles for him!!

We had just gotten back from Alexa's first walk this Spring with her brand new hat. The weather was soooo nice for a couple days and so we took advantage of it and got outside as much as we could!

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever? Alexa was a pretty sick girl last week so we had taken her to the doctor on Saturday morning but hangin out with her daddy was making her happy!

Again...another pose! This time we're "Smiling with our Eyes"!! You'll know what that means if you watch America's Next Top Model :-)...Tyra taught us how to do that!! Hahaha

We did a lot of posing for the camera while Beeta was visiting!!! And Benita gave Alexa her first hairstyle. Her hair is getting quite long but I don't think we're ready for pigtails just yet.

Bath time!! Alexa loves her baths. She just lays back and chills while we clean her all up. My favorite is seeing her curly hair when we take her out of the bath. And we love all her rolls. She's such a chunker but we love it!!
