Six Months Old!

Our baby girl is now six months old. Doesn't she look adorable in her daddy's hat???

Happy Anniversary

It's hard to believe it's been three years already! We celebrated in style though and went to a nice steakhouse for dinner. Luckily we had Kevin's parents in town to take care of Alexa while we went on our date!

Up, Up and Away!

Okay, so we didn't actually get to go up but we did get to get in the basket. Kevin's uncle's company has a hot air balloon that they brought out at the Family Reunion. All the kids loved it...even us big kids who insisted on getting in the basket! :-)

Mortenson Family Reunion

We had fun spending time with family at the Mortenson Family Reunion a couple weekends ago. Alexa got to see horses for the first time.

David's Graduation

Kevin's brother, David, graduated from the U of L School of Dentristy this month...something we have to look forward to in 3 more loooooong years. :-) Congrats Dave!!

Playing in the Grass

Like I said, Alexa loves being outside and she really enjoyed her first experience of playing in the grass.

Summer Time Fun!!

Now that the weather is so enjoyable, we've been trying to get outside as often as possible. Alexa LOVES being outside so whenever she's fussy, we just head on outdoors!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

I typically get Kevin something U of A related for his birthday/Christmas, etc....but this year, I decorated his cake instead with the Arizona "A". It's no 'Ace of Cakes' mind you, but I think I did a pretty good job for my first cake decorating experience!

Five months old and lovin' it!!!

Five months old, can you believe it? Alexa is getting soooo big. She loves playing with her feet which she recently discovered. Anytime she gets excited, she grabs her feet...it's pretty darn cute!

Pretty in Pink

My cousin, Kelsey Pankhurst, sent this adorable sleeper to Alexa. As you can see, she loves it! She's also enjoying sitting up on her own.

First Solids

Alexa has started solids now. She's not a big fan...but we're working on it! Nothing's as good as mama's milk, I guess!

Pretty Pigtails

Alexa's hair is getting pretty long now so I finally decided to try some pigtails. She's pretty darn cute if you ask me!!!

Happy Easter

Lexa looked adorable in her pretty purple Easter dress. She was quite excited about her bunny in her basket....although I think her mommy and daddy were most excited about the candy!! :-)

Sitting Up

Alexa can now sit up on her own for a short time. She loves this newfound independence - hence the seriously cheesy grin!!

Poor little Alexa came down with a viral induced respiratory infection last week and so we have to give her breathing treatments 3 times a day until the wheezing stops. As you can see, at first, she didn't really like it. She's getting used to it now though and has actually fallen asleep twice while we've been doing the treatment.
