New Office Update

Alright...it's been a looooong process, but we are almost there!

Just a couple days until our Grand Opening!

Remember the pictures from a July where it was just a bunch of metal framing????

Well, then there were walls...

 

 

And then paint...

 

And then flooring and equipment...

 

And then carpet...

 

And then FINALLY...the finished product!!

Even though it lists Kev's two partners on the door too,

Kevin is the only doc practicing at this new office.

 

Now onto our Grand Openings this week!

We have the professional Grand Opening on Wednesday

and then the public Grand Opening on Saturday.

It's a busy and exciting week for us!

We are so relieved that it's finally here!!!

Weekend Getaway

Okay, so it wasn't really a getaway, per se...at least for Kevin.  He was stuck in dental implant courses all day long, but for ME, it was most definitely a getaway!  And one so desperately needed!!!

 

I did a LOT of this...

 

The main reason I tagged along with Kevin was because his course was in Anaheim, CA, literally NEXT door to Disneyland.  I couldn't NOT go with him since I had NEVER been to Disneyland.  I serioulsy was sooooo excited!

 

It was a BLAST!

I lounged by the pool, read to my heart's content, relaxed and took naps (nap, what is a nap, right?!) AND had a datenight with my Mister at THE Happiest Place on Earth! It was delightful.

No more preschooler here...

we've got a full-fledged elementary-aged

little lady on our hands!

Ain't No Mountain High Enough...

It's begun...the climbing!

He's already into everything, can figure out handles and buttons like nobody's business...

and now he's added climbing things into the mix.

Daddy Weekend

I seriously have THE best Mister ever!  He so kindly took the kiddos to his parents again this weekend, leaving me all by my joyous lonesome!  I always have so many projects/things I want to get done, that just don't seem to get done with three little people constantly needing my attention.  It's really a win/win situation for all...the kids get some much needed time with daddy, they get to hang out with gramma and grampa, they get to do fun things...and I can get sooooo much accomplished when I don't have any interruptions! :-)

 

 

As soon as they got down to Elfrida, they went on a picnic and to play in the creek!

 

 

I so love this girl and her many facial expressions!

 

Oh this kid kills me!

 

Apparently, he'd had a long day!

 

Horses are always a big hit!

 

Except, apparently, for Alexa this time! :-)

 

Kevin even took the kiddos to church all by himself, with the help of his parents, of course.

He's my  hero!

Sure love him and his willingness to give me some much-needed ME time!

Barrett got some rain boots.  And it rained today.

..::Payton's 1st Day of Joy School::..

 

Payton started Joy School today!

It's a home-based, mom-teaching type of preschool program.  I'll admit that I was quite hesitant in making this decision to do this...but we'll give it a go and see how things go!

 

 

I forgot to take pictures of all the kids on her first day, so here they all are on her 2nd day!

Seems like a fun bunch!

..::Alexa's 1st Day of Kindergarten::..

 

My firstborn started Kindergarten today!!!

To say she was excited would be a HUGE understatement!!!

 

 

She even rode the bus her very first day.  Here she is waiting for the bus with her best little friend, Ally, who also happens to live right across the street AND is in the same kindergarten class!!!

Coming home after her 1st day of Kindergarten!  Such a big girl now...only 12 more years to go!! :-)
