S-N-O-W

The white stuff, oh the white stuff.  I guess I can handle it for one day a year! :-) Only if I have to actually BE in the snow for a couple hours and can then LEAVE the snow...I supposed it's okay!

The kids sure love it though.  And that makes it all worth it!

"T" is for Teeth

Barrett had his first official visit to the dentist (aka Daddy) today.  Although Daddy has periodically checked his teeth before, this was the first time that Barrett actually got in the chair and willingly let Kevin look inside his mouth!  What a big boy!

 

And if you can see on his shirt, it says "T is for Teeth"...quite fitting for a trip to the dentist!! :-)

 

Just Monkeying Around

The kiddos have been begging to go to Monkey Business which is not far from our house, for forever pretty much...it's pretty similar to a Peter Piper or Chuck E Cheese type establishment.  We finally decided since it was a holiday today and daddy didn't have to work, we'd go there for lunch.  We have been saving all our extra pennies since the beginning of December, and not eating out, in order to save for our Disneyland trip in February...so this was a BIG deal.  The kids were so excited to get their tokens, play the games, eat some pizza and then pick out their prizes.

It was a fun way to spend our New Year's Day!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

 

We really know how to ring in the New Year in style...

The kiddos were in bed before 7:30.

Kevin and I were in bed by 10:30.

Kevin fell right to sleep while I read.

At midnight, Kevin woke up when our neighbors starting shooting off fire crackers.

We both said "oh, I guess it's the New Year".

Yeah, that's how we roll!
