~Little Fishy~

Alexa started her first swim class today. It's a 5 week (1 class/week) class and she loves it! We figured it would be in her best interest to take as many swim classes as possible before we move back to Arizona this summer as I'm sure we'll practically be living at a pool or hopefully anyways! :-)

SNOW Day!

Why is it that kids love snow so much????? We had a pretty good snow storm and Alexa couldn't wait to play in it! We bundled her up the best we could (I refused to buy real winter clothes this year as we'll never need "winter" clothes again!!!), and off she went with Jonny. As you can tell, they had a great time. I even braved the weather (I know, shocking!!!) to watch Alexa and visit with Jonny's mommy! As much as I'm not a fan of snow or cold temperatures, it is pretty fun to see so much joy in your little one's face!

And she's off!!

I knew it wouldn't be long! Before church this morning, she took a couple knees forward and then this afternoon...she really gave it a go! Better get the baby gates out.

Too much of a good thing...

...makes for an orange nose!

Me thinks I've been feeding Payton too many sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash...and the likes.
Her poor little nose and cheeks are starting to take on an orange-ish hue!!
Probably should start feeding her more green foods to balance things out.

Jesus Wants Me For A...

"...To shine for him each day.
In every way try to please Him.
At home, at school, at play.
A Sunbeam, a Sunbeam
Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam.
A Sunbeam, a Sunbeam,
I'll be a Sunbeam for Him."

In our church, we have the Primary program for children ages 3-11, with classes for the individual age groups. The new kids coming into Primary, the 3 year olds, are called the Sunbeam Class. And the above is a popular Primary song that we sing. Well, since Alexa turned 3 this past November, she now gets to be a "Sunbeam" as of today! She was soooooo excited. She no longer has to go to the Nursery with the younger kids and she thinks it's great that she gets to be with the big kids! I hope she's always this excited about church and the gospel!
