Spelunking

Kevin took the girls to Peppersauce Cave this morning to go spelunking, with Duane and two of his kiddos too.  The dads were a little worried how the kiddos would do with having to crawl through a small hole and then rely on headlamps and flashlights to see anything...but it turns out the kids had a GREAT time and they spent WAY longer in the cave than they thought they would.

 

I'm so glad the girls have a daddy who enjoys doing all sorts of fun things with them.

One day Barrett will be old enough to join in too!!

 

Spring Football Game

Yay for school pride!

Kevin took the girls on a Daddy/Daughter Date today to the Spring Football Game.

Barrett was staying home to take a nap, but he got into the spirit of things before they left!

 

 

The met up with Kevin's brother, Duane, and his kids and had a great time!

Valentine's Day & Father/Daughter Dance

Tonight was the Father/Daughter Dance at Alexa's school.

She was sooooo excited to be going on such a special date with her daddy!

Another Christmas Tradition

Every year, Kevin asks for the basketball Christmas package for Christmas...it's 4 Arizona home games held during Christmas break.  And it's now become a tradition to take the girls to one of those games for a daddy/daughter date.  The girls love doing this with their daddy...I think this may be the last year that Barrett will tolerate being left out though!

We may just have to buy more tickets next year! :-)

Spring Football

Anytime something is going on with Arizona Sports, Kevin is so there.  And anytime the girls get a chance to go on a daddy/daughter date, they are so there!!  So the UofA spring football game was a win/win situation for all involved!  Kevin took the girls and they had so much fun with their daddy!  I think they are more excited for the popcorn and lemonade than the actual sporting event...but one day soon, I'm sure, they'll be rooting their little hearts out for their home team right along with their daddy!!

Daddy/Daughter Date

Payton got her very first official one-on-on date with daddy tonight. AND it was also her very first UofA Basketball Game. We were a little worried how she would do since the games are about 2 hours long, and she's only 2 1/2...but she lasted the entire game!! She kept her eye on Wilbur the Wildcat the whole time and enjoyed some popcorn...but best of all, she got daddy all to herself! Have I mentioned how happy it makes me to know that this is so important to Kevin...to establish these daddy/daughter relationships with his girls?!! I LOVE it! And I love how much they look forward to these dates with daddy! I hope it always is this way!

Spring Football Game

Kevin is doing quite a good job at instilling a love for Arizona sports in our girls! He's been talking about the Spring Football Game for quite some time and Alexa was super excited to go on a daddy daughter date to it. I'm not sure if she was more excited at the prospect of meeting Wilbur and Wilma the Wildcats or spending time with her daddy!! And as you can see....she DID get to meet Wilma! Yay!!! However, Wilbur was unable to attend the game that day, maybe next time!!
